Alright, mostly I just thought I should post.

A moment of silence please for the third season of Lost. It is now officialy over and one of the few that have moved me to tears. I can’t believe that Charlie is gone. And not that I want to depress you any more but, they’re making in an eight month wait for season four. Eigth months! That is ridiculous.
In other news I have another friend that got a blog and you know how I like to announce these things so that you all don’t freak out when you see someone new leaving me comments. Not that any of you have ever freaked out about that, but maybe thats because I’ve always announced the new bloggers eh? Larissa got a blog so now we have one more person to add to our wonderful blogging family. You can go say hi if you want. I just like her blog because she says nice things about me… alright, thats not why I like it, but it is a big plus. When was the last time any of you said nice things about me huh? For that matter, when was the last time any of you said anything to me. Seriously guys, why no comments? Well, the new color scheme is in celebration of the approaching summer months. I can’t wait.
As for the title of this post, I’ve decided to just start using old post titles that are already saved in the title bank. It saves time. “A” was at the top of the list.

We’re having a mock trial in my history class and I’m one of the lawyers. The trial is about the Japanese bombing Pearl Harbor and my side has to prove that this guy, Korematsu, is a japanese spy. The hard part is that I don’t actually believe that he’s spy. I mean, I really think that the guy is innocent, but for the last couple of days I’ve been convincing the rest of the class that he is guilty of spying on U.S. bases. I’ve learned something from all of this though. I would make a terrible lawyer. In fact when I realized what it was that I would be having to do, I actually asked the other side if I could trade cases with them. I told them that I didn’t believe Korematsu was a spy and could we please switch. They said no. Needless to say, I’m not a good liar and while we won’t find out till tomorrow, I’ve got a feeling that I lost the case. It also doesn’t help that I had to leave half way through questioning my witness to go and attend a college meeting (actually that part was kind of humorous).
I watched the movie Pan’s Labyrinth yesterday. It was a pretty good movie although it was terribly graphic. I had to look away for than once. There was also some pretty intense swearing but since the whole movie is in Spanish with english subtitles, its not so bad becuase you don’t actually hear the cussing. It wasn’t exactly what I expected and it was definitely weird but I guess I enjoyed it. The movie reminded me a lot of The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe and at some parts it felt like they were ripping it off. There was a faun, there was a young girl who finds a magical place thats been right under her nose. The story takes place during a war. You know, Narnia type stuff. It was good though and if you like really fanciful movies then I recommend it. If nothing else then just watch it because its fun to hear the spanish.
I need not remind you all of whats on television tonight right? Thats correct, the season three finale of Lost. I’ve got mixed feeling about it though you know. On the one hand, we’ll probably get a lot of answers about different things and its two hours long so thats, you know, incredible. But I’m also afraid that Charlie is going to die in this one and I’m also sad that they’ll be no more Lost for like four months. Anyway, it should be good, I’m looking forward to it and to pay homage to American Idol… go Blake!

Thats a picture of a painting that my friend Larissa painted for me. It looks much better in person, but the picture isn’t bad. She was sort of just messing around which is why the letters look so funky but I think it turned out pretty well. I found the frame laying around in my room so I put the canvas in it and presto! A free piece of artwork.
Moving on…
Don’t worry, Charlie didn’t die. I nearly cried abour three times but was glad when he lived to the end of the show. I just calculated my own life expectancy by going here and you’ll be happy to know that I am expected to live to be 102 years old. Thats a nice thought because I always wanted to live past a hundred and I’ve always been a little bitter about the fact that I was born in 90, so I’ll never have the chance to live in 3 centuries but you know, theres not much I can really do about that. Anyway, all that means is that 86 years from now, you all can still read my blog… if any of you are still alive. Well, Lauri will be.
Heres another quiz I took to determine the theology that I favor and what denomination I might fall under. I’m not sure that I totally agree with the outcome but it is kind of interesting.

Well, I hope you all read the article that I posted the link to. I know it was only up for less than a day but if you want to read it then just scroll down and click it. Anyway, the whole point was that the article totally tied into my interior design dilemma. The problem being I can’t stop thinking about what the money spent on paint and furniture would\could be used for. I think its a legitimate concern, however, I also think that I was given a passion and a gift regarding art for a reason. So, maybe that means I end up working for a company where I have the opportunity to be kind to the people I work with. Maybe its that simple. I don’t know. But I did think it was interesting that the article showed up right when I was debating this (divine intervention maybe?).
Lost is on tonight and I’m majorly stoked. With only a couple of episodes to go this season each one seems so much more important than the one that preceded it. Wednesday nights are going to suck when its all over though… I seriously need a hobby. Kale just finished season two last night so now he’s waiting anxiously for season three to come out. Poor guy.
I still haven’t seen Spiderman 3 yet, but I did see Disturbia the other night and that was actually really good. I was skeptical at first but it was pretty entertaining and very intense. Krystal literally screamed at one point to which I just looked at her and laughed. I mean, it was startling but not that bad. Anyway, I recommend it, other than violence and some swearing it was pretty clean.

I’m sort of considering doing something else besides interior design with my adult life. Like, I might not go to college for it or anything. I don’t know, I get this way every once in a while where I just really can’t get over this idea of being paid to make someone’s house look real nice when other people don’t even have houses. But I usually get over it and find that I’m perfectly okay with a selfish lifestyle (Jesus help me). But maybe I don’t want to be okay with it. Maybe I should fight the idea and maybe channel my creativity towards something else. I don’t know, but I was reading in a book the other day that the amount of money it would take to feed and bring aid to the world’s poorest people, is less than the amount of money america and europe spend on pet food. I don’t know about you but I definitely see something wrong with that. It made me want to stop feeding my dog. But then I realized that a dead dog laying in my yard wasn’t going to help anyone. It did however, cause me to start thinking about the considerably excessive way that I live. I don’t know, I’m sure It’ll all work out.
I was in a church bathroom the other day washing the root beer off of my arms, because a very confused little girl spilled it all over me (I don’t even like root beer but she could have at least thrown in some vanilla ice creme), I saw this flyer taped to the door and it said “Todd Agnew in Christian Concert” Well, I don’t know who this Todd guy is but since when are we advertising for specifically “christian” concerts? I get the whole subculture christian music genre thing because without it there would be no K-love and if there was no K-love, I know a lot of religious, middle aged soccer moms that would be pretty upset. Except that I don’t actually *know* a lot of religious middle aged soccer moms, but the ones I do know, listen to K-love. All that to say, the flyer confused me and I hope that guy, Todd, doesn’t expect to get a lot of opportunities to minister to people who *aren’t* christians. On the other hand the flyer was hanging up on the back of a church’s bathroom door so… not exactly the best marketing strategy to begin with.
I guess lifehouse is putting out a new album soon. Hopefully they picked it up and it turns out better than there last one did. I’m still pretty excited about it though. See ya!

Mayweather. Mayweather won the big fight. Thats boxing news for those of you that have no clue what I’m talking about. Those of you that are like me and really don’t pay much attention to sports and especially not to boxing. But, my dad and brothers enjoy boxing so whenever there’s a big fight like the one last night we always have lots of friends over to watch and its sort of a big deal. I’ll be honest though, of all the sports that I’m *not* into (and there are a lot) boxing is the one that I understand the least. I mean its just two guys hitting eachother for a half hour until one of them can’t take it anymore and collapses. Its sort of savage if you ask me. I thought we were more civilized than this. But I do enjoy everything else besides the actual boxing match. And we have this thing where everyone throws in a dollar and then draws a number and if the guy gets knocked out during the round number that you drew then you win everyone else’s dollars. I guess you could call it gambling, but I did win it this year so you know, who am I to complain… Actually its impossible to win more than twelve bucks so I guess its not really that huge of a deal.
Also, I went to All Fired Up this weekend and painted a ceramic coffee cup. I might post pictures of it after its been fired and I go pick it up, but that’ll depend on how it turns out : ) I’m also kind of worried that it might crack while its in the kiln because I had to use quite a few layers of paint. I’ve never had anything break before but if it was going to happen it would definitely happen to this one.
And in other not so exciting news, I’m thinking about taking up rollerblading (shut up jeremy). I was at big five and they had a bunch of rollerblades on sale for like 2o bucks and I thought, hey, maybe I could rollerblade, that might be kind of fun. I didn’t end up buying any because all they had were mens’ and also because I wasn’t sure if I lived near enough pavement to necessitate a pair of blades. But with gas prices being up so high and with me going to school in town next year, they may not be such a bad investment. They would certainly be better than my horse and buggy idea… although much less glamorous.
And lastly, I got someone else to jump on the Lost train. Kale was sick of always hearing me talk about the show when he didn’t even know what was going on so he told me he was going to watch that night’s episode. After fifteen minutes he was hooked and he asked if he could borrow the discs from me. Long story short, I’ve witnessed another convert into the family of Lost. Now… if only it was that easy to convince people to join the family of God… : ) (which is much better by the way). He did say though that he didn’t like the episode where they were all sitting around talking about their feelings. I didn’t remember what episode he was talking about and asked him if he was sure he hadn’t been watching Grey’s anatomy… he said he was sure.

Happy National Day of Prayer friends!
I know its late posting but its never too late to pray.
Especially pray for those that are in need and that the Church will step up and see it’s role in the lives of unsaved people. Also for the leaders of our country and for the decisions that they make, and for those in authority over other nations as well. And most importantly let us thank God for his goodness and his faithfulness and his incredible love.
Psalm 6:9
The Lord has heard my cry for mercy; the Lord accepts my prayer.
Ephesians 6:18
And pray in the spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints.
